Six Legged

It's crazy what nature can do.

This six legged little fawn was found after he was attacked by two dogs in Everett Springs, Georgia. (USA). He has two distinct pelvises and uses a leg from each to walk. He did have two tails but one had to be amputated after the attack.

This six legged deer fawn is now recovering in the West Rome Animal Clinic in Rome, GA

Isn't this crazy I have heard of sheep and cows with extra legs, but never a deer.

  2. It's unfortunate that Mother Nature has an evil side. I'm sure that this little fawn was product of twins gone wrong. Good to see someone taking care of it. Out in the wild, it wouldn't last long.

  3. HLYH - I like that spider of the deer world

Shorman - I agree she does have a bad side. It wouldn't stand a chance.

  4. Ha. Thank you for making sure everyone knew that Georgia was in the USA. ;) I realize that there is a country called GA, too - but I doubt they have an Everett Springs!? ;) LOL

Your blog is outstanding! Black deer, bears in tree stands...I can't get enough of all this abnormal stuff. what does that say about me? don't answer that.
