This huge catfish was caught in Buggs Island Lake near the union of the Dan and Roanoke rivers. It weighed in at 109 pounds 53 inches long and a girth of 41 inches. The previous state record blue catfish was caught in the tidal James River. Which is no small fish either.

Do fish just keep getting bigger and bigger or are there more fish out there that are bigger that we just haven't caught yet?
And this is why I hate swimming in southern waters that I cannot see to the bottom though. That thing could eat my leg for breakfast.
