Here are a couple of images I got in an email a long time ago well maybe a few years ago. Check out this coyote that was shot by a hunter. It almost looks as if he gnawed off his leg to get out of a trap and then just used the protruding bone as a foot. This is one crazy Coyote.

It seems that coyotes are kind of like cats and have nine lives. Have you seen anything like this? Do you think the pics are real?
My guess would be it got hit by a car,and was still in the healing process, a trap doesn't do that and especially that high up in the leg.
